Kathy Messick's Bio

Kathy was a native Californian, adoring mother of three children, Rachel, Ben, and Jimmy and a friend to many. She had four Grandchildren she loved to spend time with.

She began her lending career with Bank of America, learning the skills she would use in her many years working in the home lending field to guide her along. She worked in several capacities of the industry but found her niche as a Loan Officer, guiding her clients and agents through the process with knowledge and compassion.

She was diligent in her efforts to bring joy to her clients and treated them as friends yet remained the professional. Many became lifelong friends after the escrow closed.

Kathy had a radiant soul and the ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved.

She loved the outdoors on her paddleboard, snowmobile, hunting and fishing with family and friends at the river. She spent a lot of time in her favorite spot of La Porte, CA. She had many friends in this small community where she stayed at the family cabin. Her constant companion, Hank, her 80 lbs. dog, along for the ride.

She was a ray of sunshine and always had a smile on her face. She loved her job of blessing people with a home.

Big Valley was blessed to be part of her career.
